Cumnock opened the scoring with three minutes of the first half remaining but Bathgate's fighting spirit shone through
as they scored two goals in the second half bringing the cup back to Creamery Park, Bathgate.
Bathgate's scorers were Stephen Menmuir (despite protests from Alan Neill) and top goal scorer Paul McGrillen. Ritchie
Barr scored for Cumnock.
A crowd of about 200 gathered at Creamery Park, despite the heavy rain, to greet the Cup Champions on Sunday night.

Players' Player of the Year 2006 / 07.
Willie Wilson was a popular recipient of this new trophy for Players' Player of the year for the year 2006 / 07. Willie's
contribution has been great over the year and his dedication to the club is one to be welcomed by all associated with Bathgate
Thistle.
The trophy was presented to Willie by Sam Butler, father of Neil Butler, in whose memory the Trophy was donated to the
Club. Neil was a young supporter of Bathgate Thistle and his premature death occurred in November 2006.
